Suitable for complete beginners through to proficient dancers, we will be covering concepts of Tango. Embrace, Connection, Music and the steps to make figures. This is a stand-alone workshop.

Who is this for?
Are you new to tango; dipping your toe in the water for the first time? Do you need a recap of the fundamentals to boost your confidence? Do you want to explore the bliss of partner dancing?
Tango Espresso ~ for those who like to immerse themselves in tango for the day, not just a weekly drip-feed. Or cannot attend the weekly classes. The pragmatic essential basic elements for your Tango journey all in one day!
Partners not essential however pre-booking is so I may balance numbers and find you a partner! To ensure personal attention this workshop is restricted to a small number of couples.

*What if I did not attend the previous Tango in a day workshop?
This is a stand-alone workshop. Everything you need will be covered.
*I have attended previous Tango in a day workshop is this for me?
Yes. While a recap of foundations is essential we will also be covering new material.
*What will I get from this workshop?
As a complete beginner, you will gain the basic knowledge to start your journey.
As a recent beginner, you will consolidate some of your recent learning to move with confidence.
As an intermediate, you will gain new confidence in your movement through a better understanding technique.
*Do I need a partner?
We need to balance numbers for the workshop. That is the point of pre-booking so we can find partners for you. There will be a few taxi dancers available.
* What to wear?
Loose-fitting comfortable clothes you enjoy moving in.
* What shoes?
Any dance shoe if you do any other style of dance. If not, then a show with leather or suede sole. Non-rubber-soled shoes that allow you to twist without grip. Street shoes with CLEAN leather or plastic sole. Ultimately just a pair of socks can work just as well ?
PLEASE NOTE: This is a prestigious venue! The floor is immaculate and we would like to keep it so. Heel protectors for all shape and size are mandatory, So bring your own or are available to purchase at reception for £1.50
It’s best to bring a bottle of water with you on the day. There is the facility to purchase tea/coffee and soft drinks at the bar at the venue, so please bring additional money with you if you need your caffeine!
There is plenty of parking at the front and rear of the building. Please note that this is PAY AND DISPLAY so you will need some change (or RingGo app) for the machines. £4 for the whole day.
* I have been dancing for a while is this workshop for me?
If you feel that a lack of confidence in the foundations is holding you back and you find it difficult to progress to the next level then this is for you.
